Little Jets Program
We're very proud to be running our own introductory program for kids who want to learn basketball. Established in Term 2, 2023.
About The Program
In previous seasons, we have found that entering younger age groups straight into the domestic competition can be a very overwhelming experience for both the child and the parents. We have also found that they don't build the necessary basic skills that are required in the game of basketball.
This program is offered to help children between 5-11 years of age develop the basic fundamental skills in a FUN & SAFE learning environment.
If you have any questions, please email us at baysidejetsbasketball@outlook.comWe will be implementing a mini competition who will train and play shortened basketball games against each other. The reason for shortened games is to ensure the child does not lose focus and enjoys the game.
Our biggest goal is for our Little Jets to play team basketball & grasp the concept of man to man defence. Your child will wear a same coloured wrist band as someone in the opposing team to help them understand that they are responsible for defending that person.

DAY: Fridays (& Sundays when Friday is not available)
TIME: 6.05 - 6:45pm (Sundays 8:00-8:40am)
COST PER SEASON: $220 (plus $40 for new players only which includes starter pack)
